There are many times when I’m out and about that I think that I could really use my laptop and Internet access at that very moment. Like, what’s the phone number to the wonderful India Palace restaurant. What time does the Wal-Mart Tire and Lube close? And can I get this item cheaper online? Don’t get me wrong, I could just buy a wireless capable PDA. But, I don’t really want to spend that much money on the equipment and the service. I mean, WiMAX - let alone WiFi - is not omnipresent yet. It’s not like Visa “everywhere you want to be.”

Every Tuesday or Wednesday the mailman delivers advertisements similar to Sunday circulars. In it, we usually find ads from out local grocery, Wal-Mart, pizza places, and other miscellaneous business.
Before throwing away this junk mail, I look for the Little Caesar’s circular. You see, in San Antonio, the Little Caesar’s chain periodically sponsors what is called “Customer Appreciation Day.” I love these days! They are momentous occasions when all the Little Caesar’s in town sell medium cheese (with one pre-designated topping if you’re lucky) pizzas for only $2.99! Imagine that!
